OOH, THAT BABY IS AN ARTEEST!

 One of the best things about Jack's schoolwork from first grade was what he was doing on the back of the paper.


The first grade "Johnny Appleseed" unit started out fine:
but then Jack got bored and the natives got restless:

Johnny stayed on task and continued sprinkling those seeds.

 I think these pictures represent Jack's struggle to keep it together until recess.

and then there's this. It's a piece I like to call "Mommy is Not Screwing Everything Up". It depicts one Mommy singing the Lawrence Welk closing song to one smiling offspring and Paco the Donkey.


The printer cut off the bottom edge. The boy cuts a lot of the edges off... and I mean that in the best way.
